Risk assessments need to be carried out as required under the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations.

Assessments are also required for the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations and the Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations.

When undertaking a risk assessment, it is vital that controls are seen to flow from the findings, to ensure that the identified hazard is made as safe as is reasonably practicable It is however important that the assessments, are carried out, to demonstrate that the main risks have been identified and controlled.
